Evangelist
Terms of Participation.

This is a sponsorship arrangement, not an offer of employment. You will not be employed by Sera, you will not be paid, and you owe Sera no fee. Sera is sponsoring travel and related costs so that you can attend and represent Sera at the event.

In return, you agree to remain active in the community, to represent Sera professionally, and to meet the participation goals set out in these terms.

Nature of this arrangement.

• This is a conditional sponsorship. Sera will cover the costs set out in Section 02 provided that you meet the conditions in these terms.
• You participate as an independent participant. You are not an employee, contractor, agent, or partner of Sera, and you have no authority to make commitments or representations on Sera's behalf.
• Selection as an Evangelist does not in itself guarantee the trip. The sponsorship becomes final only once you have met the conditions through the qualifying window (see Section 04) and Sera has confirmed your booking.
• Sera may update these terms where necessary. If a material change is made, Sera will notify you and you will have the opportunity to re-confirm your participation or withdraw.

What Sera covers.

• Shared accommodation in Singapore for the event dates
• Local transport during the event
• Meals — up to S$15 (45 MYRT) per day, for 2 days. Daily meal expenses for 2 days will be reimbursed up to S$15 (45 MYRT) per day. Reimbursements will be paid in MYRT on 9 October 2026 and credited to the wallet or payout address used during your registration.
• Flights — covered up to USD 500. Sera will arrange and cover flight costs of up to USD 500. If the total airfare exceeds USD 500, you will be responsible for paying the difference. Alternatively, you may book your own flight and submit it for reimbursement, which will be paid in MYRT up to the equivalent of USD 500 (2,000 MYRT).
• Sera jacket and Sera backpack
• Event access

Sera does not cover

• Any portion of a flight above the USD 500 cap
• Personal spending, additional nights, side trips, alcohol beyond provided meals, or any item not listed above
• Visa fees, travel insurance, or any requirement for you to travel lawfully, which remain your responsibility
• Costs arising from missed flights, no-shows, or changes you cause

Your role and event responsibilities.

You are representing Sera at one of the largest events in the industry. Token2049 attracts more than 20,000 attendees, and the contact targets below are readily achievable for an Evangelist who engages actively throughout the event.

Baseline responsibilities

• Wear the Sera jacket and carry the Sera backpack at the main event and at side events
• Attend the main event and the Sera community meetup and side events
• Explain Sera to attendees, including what FX OnChain settlement is and why it matters
• Engage with the community, make introductions, and maintain a visible presence

Your event actionables

Conduct

• Represent Sera honestly and professionally. Do not make claims about Sera that you cannot substantiate, make commitments on Sera's behalf, or purport to speak for the team.
• Do not engage in any conduct that may damage the reputation of Sera or its community, including harassment, fraudulent activity, promotion of unrelated tokens under the Sera name, or any unlawful activity.
• Act on a community-first basis. The purpose of the program is to build genuine relationships.

Participation goals (qualifying window).

From the date you accept these terms until the event, you are expected to remain consistently active. Sustained activity is a core condition of the program and of your continued participation. The minimum standards are:

A) Community activity

• Be present on at least 3 days each week in the Sera community channels (Telegram). Presence means genuine, ongoing engagement, not a single concentrated burst of messages.
• Make at least 3 meaningful contributions each week. A meaningful contribution adds genuine value, such as answering a newcomer's question, explaining FX OnChain or stablecoins, or welcoming and assisting new members. The Sera team determines what qualifies, prioritising quality over quantity. Reaction emojis, "gm", "gSera", and one-line replies do not count.

B) Content on X

• Publish at least 2 original posts about Sera each week.
• At least 1 of those posts must be substantive, for example a thread, explainer, video, or detailed breakdown, rather than a single image or one-line post. A meme as the second post is acceptable.
• Engage beyond your own profile. Reference Sera in replies to others where genuinely relevant to the conversation, and engage with your own posts and other Evangelists' Sera-related content. The aim is to support the wider community, not solely to broadcast.

These standards reflect what the program already rewards: consistent presence, support for newcomers, and quality content over volume. An Evangelist participating in good faith should meet them comfortably.

You must also keep following @seraprotocol on X and stay in the Sera Telegram for the whole period. If you unfollow or leave either channel, you are out of the program.

Falling short: warnings and removal.

Sera understands that activity may occasionally dip. However, each Evangelist slot is a sponsored place that another candidate would value, so the following process applies if you fall below the required standards:

1. First instance: written warning and a one-week cure period. Sera will notify you of the shortfall and give you one week to return to the required standard. If resolved within that period, no further action is taken.
2. Second instance: sponsorship may be revoked. If a further shortfall occurs after a warning, Sera may withdraw your sponsorship. This operates on a two-strike basis.
3. Serious misconduct: immediate removal. Conduct that harms Sera's reputation or community, or that breaches Section 03, may result in immediate removal at Sera's sole discretion, without a cure period.

Sera is the final decision-maker on whether the participation goals have been met and whether conduct is acceptable. Decisions will be made fairly, but they rest with Sera.

Costs and cancellation.

This section governs financial responsibility and is important for both parties.

Cancellation by Sera

If Sera cancels the trip or your place for reasons not attributable to you (for example, a change in Sera's plans), you owe Sera nothing and Sera bears the cost.

Removal or withdrawal (reimbursement / clawback)

If your sponsorship is revoked because you have breached these terms (including a failure to meet the participation goals after a warning, misconduct, or unfollowing or leaving the required channels), or if you withdraw after Sera has made bookings, then:

• You agree to reimburse Sera for any non-refundable costs already incurred on your behalf, including non-refundable flights or accommodation, change fees, and the jacket where already produced and shipped.
• Sera will provide a breakdown of the actual costs. Sera does not seek to profit, but to recover losses caused by your withdrawal or breach.

No-show

Failure to attend the event after Sera has incurred costs constitutes a breach, and the reimbursement provisions above apply in full.

These are special gSera perks for the Token2049 Evangelist cohort. All gSera awards are subject to applicable terms and conditions.

gSera awards are linked to your wallet/payout address, so please make sure the address you provide on acceptance is correct.

General terms.

• Independent participant. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship. No wages or benefits are payable, and you have no authority to bind Sera.
• Ownership of content. You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant Sera permission to share, repost, and feature your Sera-related content across Sera's channels.
• Use of likeness. You permit Sera to use photographs and video of you taken at the event for Sera's marketing and event recaps.
• No guarantees. This sponsorship relates to this event only. It does not promise any future role, payment, or ongoing relationship. Any gSera awards are subject to applicable terms and conditions.
• Withdrawal or amendment. Sera may withdraw or amend this sponsorship in accordance with these terms. Section 06 governs the financial consequences.
• Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
